Ductless Split Wine Cooling Systems

Superior wine preservation for when ductwork isn’t an option. The Ductless Split wine display cooling systems provide high quality cooling and airflow to keep your wine collection at the finest storage conditions while also giving installers maximum flexibility when working with limited space.
Available in three styles: Wine Wall, Ceiling Mounted, and Through-the-wall. These systems are the right choice for almost any small- to mid-sized wine wall, wine display, or wine room.

Wine Wall Cooling System

Find the Right Style for Your Wine Space

Wine Guardian offers three types of Ductless Split systems to best suit the needs of your space.

Wine Wall

Wine Wall Cooling System

A ductless wine cooling system made for wine walls. The Wine Wall Cooling System mounts completely flush with a wine wall’s ceiling – creating a seamless integration with no bulky equipment visible. Supply and return slot diffusers along the length provide optimum distribution of conditioned air by directing air down into the wine wall and then returning it back into the cooling system.

Ceiling Mounted

Ceiling Mounted with Condenser

Introducing the finest cooling solution for your wine wall, wine display, or all-glass room. The Ceiling Mounted system seamlessly integrates into the wine display’s ceiling without cutting joists – great for projects with limited wall space. Adaptable to any aesthetic – the system’s grille can easily be painted to match the look and feel of the space.

U.S. Patent No. 11,536,467

Through-the-Wall

TTW Ductless Split

The Through-the-Wall Ductless Split system combines the installation simplicity of a traditional Through-the-Wall system with the cooling abilities and flexibility of a split system. With a sleek and attractive design made of commercial grade material, the Through-the-Wall is a stylish addition to your cellar that will also last the test of time.

Flexibility for When There is None

Two separate units and zero ductwork make the Ductless Split system the perfect solution for wine room projects with the following restrictions:

  • No room for ductwork
  • Mechanical rooms with limited to no space
  • Condenser air is difficult to exhaust

Easy access and installation

The Wine Wall Cooling System and the Ceiling Mounted system feature our ceiling mount system with hinge design that acts as a second hand while installing, making one person installations are simple.

Timeless Designs for Any Cellar

Wine Wall

Wine Wall System Evaporator

This ductless split system’s slim grille installs completely flush with the ceiling with zero obtrusive cooling equipment visible in the wine wall. This means that the only thing on display is your wine. The powder coated grille features a sleek black finish which can easily be painted on-site to match the ceiling’s décor.

Ceiling Mounted

Ceiling Mounted System

With a sleek and sophisticated look, the Ceiling Mounted system is designed to fit right into the style of today’s modern wine walls. Placed at top of the wine display, the Ceiling Mount system doesn’t divert attention from the focal point of the space – the wine collection. Easily paintable grilles allow the system to perfectly match your cellar’s unique aesthetic.

Through-the-Wall

TTW Ductless Split

Curved edges, stylized air vents, and an all-black finish give the Through-the-Wall wine cellar ductless split system a timeless look that compliments any cellar’s modern or traditional design. The system is constructed of commercial-grade, corrosion resistant components and an all-aluminum frame, to keep the system looking great as it ages alongside your wine collection.

The Condenser: Made for Wine Guardian

Both the Through-the-Wall and Ceiling Mounted versions of the system include a separate outdoor condensing unit. The condenser is designed and manufactured by Wine Guardian to work together with the evaporator.

We engineered the system’s condenser with licensed contractors in mind. The Ductless Split’s evaporator and condenser units are connected through refrigerant copper tubing, like that of residential ducted mini split systems – helping create a familiar installation process.

Remote Interface Controller

System Control

The Wine Guardian-designed remote controller for wine cellar ductless split systems gives you full access to the conditions of your wine room by allowing you to control the temperature and measure the humidity of the space. With advanced Wireless2Base™ technology, the controller connects wirelessly to your Ducted Split system, allowing you to place the controller wherever is most convenient for you. For additional flexibility and more precise measurements, an extra controller and remote air sensors can be connected when the controller is placed outside of the wine space.

Complete Wine Protection

By utilizing air sensing technology, the system’s remote controller watches over the cellar’s temperature and humidity making sure they stay at consistent wine preservation conditions. If the controller notices any changes, it jumps into action and adjusts the temperature to optimal settings – before your wine collection is affected.

Service Made Easy

With no tools required to remove the grille assembly, we’ve made access to the system’s controls and internals easy so that servicepersons can get in, make repairs, and move onto the next job. And unlike competitors, the Ductless Split system, and all other Wine Guardian systems, are fully serviceable in field without the need to be returned to factory.

Prime Temperature for Consumption

Cater wine to your clientele. The Ceiling Mounted models can come with an optional serving temperature setting that cools wine down to temperatures optimal for consumption, perfect for restaurant wine displays or cabinets.

Humidifiers, The Next Step

A well-humidified wine space ensures a collection of wine remains pristine, without the loss of liquid or spoilage. An optional Wine Guardian Humidifier can be installed into your cellar to ensure the flavor and quality of your wine aren’t lost due to improper cellar conditions.

We purchased and had a Wine Guardian D200 installed with a installer, Jones Mechanical, who did not know the unit as well as they should have. After a number of expensive service calls, we contacted Wine Guardian's manufacture and they gave us the name of their installer in the area. Steve came out, found the unit's computer program was not set correctly - i.e. it was in "test mode". The manufacture worked with Steve from "Red Rock" and sent was a replacement unit at a fair price even though it was out of warranty.

Cooling capacity rated at 80°F(27°C) ambient. Many variables affect proper unit sizing, including type of construction, insulation values, amount of glass, residential vs. commercial applications, etc. Proper wine cellar cooling units size should only be determined by using the Wine Guardian sizing calculations.
